For sanitary applications, AMFOR sanitary spiral wound with net outer wrap UF membrane elements have been used for Dairy/Biotech/Enzyme/pharmaceutical areas. Such as Whey protein, Chymosin ,Lactose, Starch, egg white, cheese, enzyme, concentration and Isolation… The modules are used to separate particles like colloids,

proteins and micro-organisms and to decontaminate fluids.

The feed channel height can be varied by the thickness of the spacer material (from 30 to 80 mil). This helps to adapt the height to the viscosity or the solids content of the liquid.
